The 3-star Cabana Cerbu is located in the village of Paraul Rece, on DN73A, a few km from Predeal. The first unit in the area, built in 1930, with the construction of the Predeal-Rasnov road (built by Queen Maria in 1929), was called Paraul Rece, a name inspired by the spring that runs through the property. In 1950 it was nationalized, and in 1965 it burned down and was later renovated as a bungalow for the Predeal OJT, operating like this until the revolution, when, following a process of restitution, it returned to the rightful owners, under the name Cabana Cerbu.
Paraul Rece resort is connected to Predeal by a modernized road, 8 km long, which is also called the "students' resort". With a unique natural setting, the resort is excellent, with clean air, sun and light all year round.

Located just a few minutes away by car or a relaxing 30-40 minute walk, Cabana Trei Brazi is one of the most popular destinations in the area. It is the ideal place for those looking for spectacular views of the Postăvarul Massif and the Piatra Craiului Mountains without much physical effort. The terrace of the chalet offers an unforgettable panorama, being the perfect point for an outdoor lunch break or to start longer mountain trails to Cabana Secuilor.
Râșnov Fortress (History and Panorama)
Located about 15 km from Pârâul Rece, on the winding road that descends to Râșnov (DN73A), the fortress is one of the best-preserved fortified complexes in Transylvania. Visitors can explore the “upper city”, with its cobbled streets and stone houses, while enjoying a 360-degree view of Țări Bârsei. It is an excellent cultural option for families and history buffs who want to combine mountain relaxation with discovering the local heritage.
